Whilst walking on the eve of New Years we stumbled across 'Nellie' the beagle. Startled by early fireworks Nellie had dangerously dashed her way through heavy traffic only to collapse into a shaken heap. We sat with Nellie until she was calm and her owners were reached and reunited. A big thank you to the National Pet Registry for answering the call. Unfortunately by the tired tone of the operator they had encountered a big night. A note to all the dog owners out there.
